Practice Tree Tournament Rules
Port-a-tree Eliminator Next Generation will be used, in conjunction with a Port-a-tree Mini with factory bulbs. Standard Port-a-tree factory buttons and cords will be used. Contestant-supplied buttons and/or modifications to buttons is prohibited. Race will be conducted using a 0.500 sportsman tree. Racers must stage in a timely and courteous manner. Warnings, reruns, and/or disqualifications can be issued for unsportsmanlike conduct at any time, at the full discretion of the race promoter, without refund. Rollout will be set to Port-a-tree recommended mini tree setting of .300. Bump down/up is not in effect. Random pairings. Laddered at 16 or less based on reaction from previous round. Lane choice will be determined by coin flip. Time trails will consist of three (3) practice hits per entry. Double entries allowed. No triple entries allowed. No practice hits once eliminations begin. Adjustments to delay will be set by the event official and must be communicated prior to pre-stage. Re-run pair if same reaction time, lanes must remain the same. Buybacks will buy into second round. An entry can only receive a bye run one time, unless all other remaining entries have received a bye as well. Bye determined by random selection. Winners purse is guaranteed at $5,000 to win and is not impacted by entry count. Fights, arguments, and/or any disrespect to staff and/or other competitors will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event.
